SOUNDBOKS Battery Swap

• Each package includes a fixed number of swaps — unused swaps are non-refundable.
• If you purchase a Battery Swap and don’t bring your own Gen4 battery, you will receive an email before the festival with the option to prepay the rental fee and deposit – otherwise, payment is made at pick-up.
• Rental batteries have a rental fee of 200 DKK and a deposit of 1,400 DKK. The deposit will be refunded to the same account used for the purchase when the battery is returned at the same festival – usually within 14 business days.
• If you choose to keep the battery, the deposit will be retained.

What types of SOUNDBOKS batteries are eligible for swap?
Only SOUNDBOKS Gen4 batteries are eligible for the Battery Swap service. Gen1–3 batteries are not compatible and must use Hand-in Charging instead.

Can I use my own SOUNDBOKS Gen4 battery?
Yes. You can use your own Gen4 battery, and your first swap is counted when you hand in your battery for exchange.

Can I rent or buy a SOUNDBOKS Gen4 battery on-site?
Yes! You can rent or buy a Gen4 battery at the festival. A deposit of 1,400 DKK and a rental fee of 200 DKK are required at pick-up, and in return, you’ll get a fully charged battery ready to go. Your first swap will only be counted when you hand in the battery for charging for the first time.

How do I get my deposit back?
Return your rented Gen4 Battery at the festival, and the deposit (1,400 DKK) will be refunded to the same account used for the rental, usually within 14 business days. If you keep the battery, the deposit is retained.

How many swaps do I get?
Each package includes a fixed number of swaps.

Can I get my money back for unused swaps?
We’re unfortunately not able to offer partial refunds for unused swaps, so please plan your swaps accordingly.

What happens if my battery is damaged or visibly faulty?
Batteries with visible damage may be refused for swapping.

Where can I swap batteries?
At all Volt Recharge Zones during festival opening hours.

What should I do if I have questions during the festival?
On-site support is available at all Volt Recharge Zones.
