Book a spot for you and your camp with Get A Place.
We mark and reserve an area of 50 m². One Get A Place spot is intended for a camp of 6–10 people or approximately four tents and one pavilion.
A maximum of one pavilion is allowed per Get A Place spot. You can rent a pavilion through us.
Bringing a sound system?
If you plan to bring a sound system that cannot be carried by one person without wheels, assistance from others or other aids, you must apply in advance.
Smaller systems such as a Soundboks do NOT require an application.
Read more about the rules for large sound systems, the application process and deadlines here.
Please note that you still need a ticket to Roskilde Festival. This is an add-on to make your experience more comfortable. Buy your ticket here.

Rules for the area
Rules for the area
Rules in the area:
- It is not possible to reserve more space than needed, as Get A Place is solely a pre-reservation of a continuous area for a group of people and not the purchase of a specific plot of land.
- If you do not make use of the allocated area or, for example, set up continuous pavilion structures, you will be asked to remove any extra pavilions or move tents closer together, and other guests may be placed in the area. If you have multiple Get A Place products, you may place two pavilions next to each other as long as it is clear that they belong to the same shared camp.
- For safety reasons, pavilions must not be placed in a way that makes it impossible to separate or dismantle them at short notice.
- Any form of open fire, including candles, oil lamps, etc., is prohibited.
- Camping or parking on emergency access roads is not permitted.
- You must comply with the festival’s sound policy. You can find it here
- If you wish to bring a large sound system (larger than a Soundboks), you must apply for permission. More information on rules and the application process can be found here
- Anyone with a valid festival wristband may move freely within the area.
- There are several items you are not allowed to bring into the camping area. You can find an overview of all prohibited items here
- Upon departure, your area must be cleared of all equipment and materials you brought with you.
- You must follow the instructions of the camping hosts regarding arrival, placement, behavior, and departure.
- All festival camping areas close on Sunday 5 July at 12:00, and you must have left the area by then.

A cleaner Roskilde
When we live together at Roskilde Festival, we must all help take care of our beautiful festival grounds.
This means leaving every area clean and free of the items you brought with you. It also means minimizing our impact on the planet, even while we’re enjoying the festival.
You make a huge difference when you reduce your consumption, sort your waste, and reuse as much as possible.
- Reduce means bringing as little as possible from home
- Sort means helping to keep the festival clean by sorting your waste at our waste stations
- Reuse means taking your belongings home and using them again
