Join a unique dining experience at Roskilde Festival where 150 guests gather around a circular long table to share a seasonal, plant-based meal rooted in regenerative principles and prepared with care using Danish vegetables and legumes.
Helene Forchammer, Hektor Chidekel and Jason Reith from Eat Real Be Real will guide you through a sensory journey shaped by their philosophy: using pure, unprocessed ingredients and letting legumes and vegetables shine as the stars of the plate. Meat, fish, and broths – if present – play only a supporting role to enhance flavour, not dominate the dish.
This meal is a celebration of seasonal produce and a call to reconnect with the Earth, our food, and each other. The atmosphere is set by the table itself – a circular long table that sets the rhythm of the evening – and enriched by a lush, living tablescape created by florist Albert Reith, whose arrangements bring nature directly to the table.
Eat Real Be Real is known for creating genuine, sustainable dining experiences that respect the body, the planet, and the people who grow our food. With two acclaimed cookbooks behind them, they have inspired many to see green cuisine as both joyful and deeply satisfying.
This is more than a meal – it’s an invitation to slow down, reflect, and be part of a beautiful shared moment where food becomes a way to restore connection.

GASTRONOMIC EXPERENCES AT ROSKILDE FESTIVAL
Join a unique dining experience where food sparks connection, reflection, and change. Food is Now is Roskilde Festival’s platform for food culture – inviting you to taste, think, and engage with the future on your plate.
At Roskilde Festival 2025, we explore the systems behind what we eat – how food is grown, shared, and sustained. Through regenerative practices and shared meals, we ask how food can help restore both soil and society.
A Food is Now ticketed event is more than a meal – it’s an immersive experience led by chefs, farmers, artists, and researchers.
